Council approves one Axon contract for police cameras, Tasers and drones, adding FUSUS software.

The contract bundles the police department's existing Axon deals for body cameras, Tasers, drones, Lightpost and interview room equipment. It locks in prices for licenses, warranties and cloud storage through fiscal year 2034. The City says it cuts the cost for fiscal year 2027 from $837,156 to $740,000. It adds FUSUS software, at $467,602 that year, to be paid by a Community Project Funding award.
