The board is one of four Helene recovery boards Council set up on August 26, 2025. It works only on tasks from Council, a Council committee or City department directors. The at-large members are Joshua Martin Rudow, David Bartholomew, Matt Allen, Brian Methvin, Lukas Ray, Rebecca Chaplin and Yvette Jives. Four members from other boards were also named. All serve until June 30, 2027.
