From the minutes, not yet reviewed

Council shifts $1 million in affordable housing funds to Helene home repairs and rent help.

The $1 million was meant for affordable housing at 148 River Ford Parkway, the former Ramada. A new plan for that site, approved September 24, 2024, no longer needs it. Now it will pay for home repair and rental assistance, plus the cost of running them. Households at or below 60% of area median income come first, with help for up to 80%.
